JKS 0013 Tsavo East Safari from Mombasa: A Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: From Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park (180 KMs – Approximately 3 Hours)
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
Morning: Departure from Mombasa beach hotel or port, traveling along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway. Enjoy the local farms and scenic plains en route. Arrival at Tsavo East National Park is expected by mid-morning.
Mid-Morning: Begin the first game drive in the park, famous for Africa’s “Big Game” - lions, leopards, Cape buffalos, and elephants. Also, keep an eye out for the diverse birdlife, including lovebirds, black kites, and ibises.
Afternoon: Post-lunch, venture out for more wildlife spotting – zebras, cheetahs, warthogs, and giraffes. As evening approaches, watch for more big game activity.
Evening: Enjoy dinner and relax at your selected lodge or tented campground.
